Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini gets Jelly Bean update in US


Samsung has started rolling out the Jelly Bean Operating System update for the Galaxy S3 Mini devices in United States with US Cellular.

Though the Galaxy S3 Mini did not arrive with the same name in the US, it came as Galaxy Exhibit on T-Mobile and Galaxy Axiom at U.S. Cellular networks. The phone on U.S. Cellular have started getting the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean updates today via over-the-air notifications.

All you need to do is to go to your settings option to look for the update. Connect the phone to Wi-Fi and do make it a point that the battery is fully charged. Now proceed, accept the update promt and it will start downloading and after this the installation process will begin.

The update brings enhancements like buttery smoother user interface, Google Now, better stock Browser, Calendar application, widgets and multitasking. This update however, does not bring the Premium Suite of applications from Samsung.

The Galaxy S3 Mini came out-of-the-box with the Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich operating system.

At last the update is out and will really improve your phone.
